Dr. Daniel Degner earned a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He then practiced veterinary medicine for two years in a small animal practice in Edmonton, Alberta. Thereafter, he completed a small animal internship in medicine and surgery at Colorado State University and a surgical residency at Michigan State University. In 1997, he became a diplomate of the American college of Veterinary Surgeons. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery via arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy. Other special interests include microvascular surgery, microureteral surgery and liver surgery. Dr. Degner continues to be very active in the training of veterinarians the art and science of surgery at local, state, and national continuing education meetings.
